Lamine Yamal Signed a New Contract with FC Barcelona Until 2031
FC Barcelona has officially extended
Lamine Yamal's contract until 2031, a move that many fans eagerly anticipated.
The deal was finalized following several intense discussions in recent days,
with assistance from his agent, Jorge Mendes. The official signing took place
in President Joan Laporta’s office, attended by Rafa Yuste and Deco. This
agreement was reached after extensive talks between the club and Yamal’s
representatives. His agent, Jorge Mendes—a well-known and influential
football agent—played a crucial role in finalizing the deal. The official
signing occurred at the club’s headquarters, in President Joan Laporta’s
office, with key figures including Rafa Yuste (director) and Deco (legend and
advisor) also present.
Yamal, currently 17, previously had a
contract until 2026. However, since October 2023, there has been an informal
agreement to extend it until 2030. His new contract will commence when he turns
18 on July 13, 2024, and will last until 2031. It includes a substantial €1
billion release clause, a higher salary that reflects his importance to the
team, and additional payments based on achievements. Yamal joined Barça at just
7 years old and has always wanted to remain with the club. This extension
ensures he stays with Barça for years to come, keeping him away from other
major clubs that may have tried to sign him this summer. Now, he can
concentrate on playing for Spain in the Nations League before taking a break
and returning for preseason training.
- Previous
Contract: Yamal was already under contract until 2026.
- Pre-agreement: Back
in October 2023, both sides had already agreed in principle to extend
his deal until 2030.
- New
Update: Now, they’ve gone even further and signed him until 2031.
This new deal will officially start when
Yamal turns 18, on July 13, 2025. It includes:
- A €1
billion release clause, which means any other club would have to pay that
huge amount if they want to sign him before his contract ends.
- A higher
salary, reflecting his importance to the team and his rising star status.
- Milestone
bonuses, meaning he can earn extra money based on achievements like
appearances, goals, assists, or winning major trophies.
In Summary:
- FC
Barcelona has extended Lamine Yamal’s contract until 2031.
- He
joined the club at age 7 and is now seen as one of the best young football
talents in the world.
- The new
deal includes a €1 billion buyout clause, higher pay, and
performance-based bonuses.
- It
secures his future at Barça and keeps him away from rival clubs.
- Now, he
can focus on representing Spain and preparing for the next season with
Barcelona.

Trans Life Matter Barcelona
Transgender Rights
(Trans Life Matter Barcelona)
Dozens of people marched in Barcelona on Sunday to support transgender rights. They also remembered Sara Millerey, a transgender woman from Colombia who was murdered. About 500 people joined the protest, which started at Plaça Universitat through La Rambla Raval and moved toward Plaça Catalunya. The protest was organized by a group called Furia Travesti.
Sara Millerey was found badly hurt in a river in Medellín, Colombia, in early April. Her arms and legs were broken. She was still alive when found, but sadly, she died in the hospital.
At the protest, people shouted that they were not just asking for rights—they were demanding them. They also said that many trans people are missing or have been lost, and that only a few remain. The protestors called for an end to conversion therapies, which try to change a person’s gender identity. They also said that people living in unsafe or unfair situations need support.“We do not want what the system gives us,” they said. “We declare war on the cis-system and everything it stands for.”
-
They also honored the memory of Sara Millerey, a transgender woman from Colombia who was murdered in a violent and painful way.
They wanted to raise awareness about the violence and unfair treatment faced by transgender people. They said they are tired of asking for basic rights and instead are now demanding justice and change.
-
A group called Furia Travesti, which supports transgender and non-binary people, led the protest.
-
-
End conversion therapy – These are harmful practices that try to change someone’s gender identity.
-
Support for vulnerable people – Many transgender people live in unsafe or unstable conditions and need legal and social protection.
-
System change – They criticized the "cis-system," which is a term used to describe a society built around cisgender people (those whose gender identity matches the sex they were assigned at birth). They believe this system often ignores or harms trans people.
-
-
"Declare war on the cis-system" mean
This is a strong way of saying they reject how society treats transgender people and are ready to fight for justice, equality, and survival. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

Huge Thanks to Brave: Police Who Lit Up the Darkness
https://rumble.com/v6spyun--blackout-in-spain-huge-thanks-to-the-national-police-guardia-civil-and-urb.html
#Spain has faced one of its darkest moments — an unprecedented nationwide electricity blackout that struck suddenly this afternoon, leaving millions without power across all regions.
From vibrant cities like Madrid and Barcelona to the quietest rural towns, life came to a standstill.
There was no electricity, no internet, no mobile service, no calls — a complete communication collapse. #NoInternet #NoMobilePhones #NoCalls #noelectricity
💡 In the face of this chaos, we extend deep gratitude to the National Police, Mossos d'Esquadra, and Guardia Civil. Despite the failure of traffic lights and systems, they stepped up — directing traffic manually, preventing accidents, and ensuring public safety.
They worked extended hours under extreme pressure and helped save countless lives.
👏🏼 Thank you for your courage, dedication, and leadership in crisis.
Let us remember this day — not just for the darkness it brought, but for the strength and unity it revealed in those who served.
